This is a demo for Ofoto One Step Scanning Software.
To run it, just: double click on Ofoto™ Tour (the projector file).
---------------------------------
Controlling the Ofoto™ Tour:
At the bottom of the demo window is a small control panel:
---------------------------------
System Requirements:
The demo folder will occupy about 1 megabyte on your hard drive. To run it you will need a Macintosh® Plus or higher computer with System 6.0.7 or later System Software (including System 7). You will need a minimum of 1 megabyte of System memory (RAM), although 2 megabytes are recommended.
---------------------------------
Display:
An 8-bit or 24-bit monitor capable of displaying 256 levels of gray is recommended. The demo will run on a 4-bit or 1-bit (Black&White) monitor but the grayscale images will be displayed as 1-bit bitmaps.
If you have a 24-bit color display system the demo will automatically switch to 256-color mode for the duration of the demo.
---------------------------------
Powerbook™ Users:
The “System Rest” feature of the Powerbook (not to be confused with “System Sleep”) will slow the demo animation to a crawl if there is no mouse activity.
You should disable the System Rest for the demo. Here's how:
1. In the Apple menu select Control Panels.
2. Double-click on the Portable control panel.
3. Hold down the Option key and click on the text “Minutes Until Automatic Sleep.”
A dialog box appears describing the System Rest function.
4. Click the “Don't Rest” radio button.
5. Click OK.
When you are done with the demo you should turn “Rest” back on to avoid inefficient power consumption. You can either follow the same steps, or this will be turned on automatically the next time select Restart or Shut Down.
(This is described on page 102 of your “Macintosh User's Guide for Macintosh Powerbook Computers.”)
